Meet your guide for a tour of Mobile.
We will ride the famous Azalea Trail,
stopping to tour one of our antebellum
museum homes. Lunch will be served at
Bellingrath Gardens. Tour the Gardens
and Home, then take a relaxing cruise
on the Southern Belle. Return to the
comfort of your hotel. Check in and
have a Wine and Cheese reception. Dinner
will be in one of our elegant antebellum
homes. Return to the comfort of your
hotel. |
Day
2 * 10 Hours * 40 Miles
9:00 am to 8:00 pm
Breakfast is served in the hotel dining
room. Your guide will board your coach.
Depart for the Festival of Flowers.
The Festival features over 100,000 square
feet of life size landscape gardens,
elaborate displays, and thousands of
breathtaking blossoms, under tent and
sky. Lunch will be on your own. Board
your coach and depart for the Eastern
Shore of Mobile Bay. First stop will
be the Greek Orthodox Church at Malbis
Plantation. There are over 100 hand
painted icons and murals in the church.
Next stop will be Seven Gables, a private
home that is opened for our group. Tour
the home and enjoy refreshments on the
veranda. On to Punta Clara Candy Kitchen
located in an 1890 Bay Side Cottage.
Tour the home and sample some of the
delicious homemade candy. You may even
want to take some home. Return to the
comfort of your hotel. Dinner will be
a treat. You will have a unique experience.
The Chef will show you how to prepare
some of our local favorites. You will
sample them before we dine, and the
recipes will go home with you. Return
to the comfort of your hotel. |

Breakfast is served in the hotel dining
room. Board your coach for The Historic
Homes Tour. Several private homes will
be opened for your group. Lunch will
be at a local restaurant. Depart for
home. |
