As you ride through the city your guide will tell you about the customs, history, and architecture of the area. There is a unique blend of architecture in the magnificent antebellum homes of Federal, Greek Revival, and Victorian styles.
Many homes are embellished with delicate wrought iron. Highlighting the tour is a visit to one of Mobile's furnished antebellum museum homes. Tea will be served.
Festival of Flowers
Held in March each year, the Festival of Flowers showcases area designers and the flora of Coastal Alabama. A fundraiser for Providence Hospital, the Festival of Flowers is a premier Springtime event.
This three day tour includes a trip to the beautiful, historic Bellingrath Gardens & Home, a day at the Festival and a trip through historic Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay.
Wonders of the Water
Mobile sits on the muth of five rivers and the top of Mobile Bay. This tour takes you through all aspects of our area, starting with a pontoon boat tour of the Delta at Five Rivers Delta Resource Center and continues to Battleship Park, home of the USS Alabama and USS Drum.
The rest of the tour continues with a visit to Bayou la Batre, home to Forrest Gump and Alabama's largest seafood processing industry and to Dauphin Island, including historic Fort Gaines. Full speed ahead!
This exciting tour ends with a visit to beautiful Bellingrath Gardens and Home, with lunch aboard the Southern Belle on Fowl River.
This four day tour is full of ghosts, gardens and grand dames! Starting with a visit to the WWII USS Alabama and ending in Downtown Mobile, you'll enjoy meeting some of the ghostly characters of yesteryear.
The tour continues onto to the "Garden Spot of the South," Bellingrath Gardens & Home. After a tour of the home and extensive gardens, lunch will be served onboard the Southern Belle.
Rounding out this fantastic tour includes a visit to the Grand Dame of resorts, with lunch at the Grand Hotel. Following a tour of historic Malbis, dinner will be a glorious gourment, mardi gras gala.
Mardi Gras originiated in the United States in Mobile, Alabama over 300 yeas ago. Brought to the area by French settlers, Mobile has carried on the tradition with gusto!
